Sahil will be playing a noticeable role in ‘Don 2’, that’s slated to release in the third week of December.

Metrolife caught up with the young lad and asked him what got him hooked to Bollywood and what it takes to make a mark in Bollywood. Sahil is quite keen to get
noticed but he says that he will not do anything out of the way, “I want people to recognise me for my hard work and I don’t want to grab any extra attention. Acting is no easy task and I am ready to give my all, without compromising on quality,” he says.

Talking about his experience while shooting for ‘Don 2’ and working with Shah Rukh Khan, Sahil says, “It’s a learning experience and I consider it fortunate to have bagged a good role in ‘Don 2’. Acting with some of the biggest names will give me the much-needed break,” he beams.

He says that it’s only when one begins working with big stars that one realises that looking good and maintaining the look comes at a price. “Shah Rukh Khan looks the way he does because of sheer hard work, commitment and dedication. He doesn’t compromise on anything. He insists that whatever he does must be nothing less than perfect. And I think that finesse and perfection come with experience and time,” explains Sahil.

Sahil was linked with his co-star Priyanka Chopra during the shooting of ‘Don 2’. Does this link-up bother a newcomer like him? “I was warned that link-ups are a common thing in the film industry. It did bother me at first but soon I realised that I shouldn’t waste my time on frivolous things like this,” he avers.

Sahil did his masters in information technology, pursued management studies in Australia and worked in shifts as a bouncer in the nightclubs there. “I always wanted to be an actor and I knew that it was only a matter of time before I got into the film industry,” he wraps up.
